Celebrating Your Unique Love Story
In Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and across Europe
Telling Your Love Story in a Way That Truly Belongs to You
Your love story is one of a kind – and it deserves to be told in a way that is emotional, joyful, and truly authentic. Since 2015, I have been creating personalized wedding ceremonies that reflect the uniqueness of every couple I work with. With warmth, humor, and heartfelt understanding, I turn each ceremony into an unforgettable experience that touches both you and your guests deeply.
My mission: to make your wedding ceremony a true celebration of love – your love.

What Is a Personalized Wedding Ceremony?
A personalized wedding ceremony is the heartfelt alternative to traditional religious weddings. It can complement your legal marriage – but it doesn’t have to. Most importantly, personalized ceremonies carry no legal obligations and are free from religious constraints. In this type of ceremony, the couple and their unique love story take center stage.
Every element of the ceremony can be tailored to reflect your personality and values – from the choice of words and music to symbolic rituals that feel meaningful to you. Whether romantic, humorous, modern, or deeply emotional: together, we create a ceremony that feels authentic and unforgettable.

“You created an unforgettable moment for us — we’re still lost in the pictures and memories.”

From Lakeside to Mountain Chalet – Your Love Story on the Perfect Stage
Because your wedding deserves more than tradition – it deserves your personal touch.
I offer you the freedom to design your wedding ceremony exactly as you imagine it – and to celebrate at the location of your dreams. Whether by a shimmering lake, in a quiet forest, at a mountain chalet, or at a venue close to your heart – your ceremony takes place wherever you want it to be.
Like a director creating a movie, I craft your ceremony with a narrative arc: balancing heartfelt emotions with lighthearted, humorous moments, and leading gracefully to a grand finale. A wedding ceremony can be deeply romantic – but it can also entertain and delight, if that’s what you envision.

Expertise & Services
Looking for a perfect blend of expertise and passion? Since 2015, I have guided over 190 couples through their wedding day and touched the hearts of more than 11,000 guests. My role goes far beyond simply reading a story – I create an experience that feels personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.
What I Do for You:
-
Listening & Advising: Sharing ideas on venues, music, ceremony flow, and current trends
-
Preparation & Concept: Spending several days crafting your ceremony script and developing a concept with symbolic rituals
-
Coordination: Arriving at least two hours before the ceremony to set up sound equipment, conduct sound checks, and brief participants
-
Support: Being your go-to contact and quick problem-solver throughout your planning journey
-
Involving Your Loved Ones: Gathering stories and anecdotes from witnesses, parents, or children to add humor and heartfelt moments
Audio Sample – my voice for your story
In my ceremony, my goal is to touch your hearts. That’s why it matters that you also feel connected to my voice – its sound, rhythm, tone, emphasis, volume, and yes, even my European accent.
Take a listen and see for yourselves if my voice feels right for you.

My role goes far beyond simply reading a story aloud!
What Does “Personalized Ceremonies and More” Mean?
My work doesn’t stop at weddings. Over the years, I’ve expanded my services to meet the unique wishes of couples and families in many different moments of life.
Destination Weddings
Whether on an exotic beach, in the mountains, or abroad at your dream location – I regularly officiate weddings across Europe and beyond. The farthest I’ve traveled for a ceremony was to Sri Lanka, but no destination is too far when it comes to celebrating love.
Ceremony Script Ghostwriting
Some couples prefer a close friend or family member to officiate their wedding. In these cases, I step in behind the scenes: I design the entire concept and write a complete ceremony script, including detailed guidance for a smooth and confident delivery.
Decor & Furniture to Set the Scene
My clients dreamed of wedding arches, elegant chandeliers, cozy sofas, and plenty of seating for everyone. So I made it happen—warehouse and truck included. Yes, I even drive the 3.5-ton truck myself, because bringing your vision to life is what matters most.
Julia – Wedding Celebrant & Founder of Liebesbekenntnis
I’m Julia, wedding celebrant and founder of Liebesbekenntnis. Since 2015, I have been guiding couples toward ceremonies that are as unique as their love – with words that move, entertain, and feel truly authentic. My style is as versatile as the couples I work with: sometimes light and humorous, sometimes solemn and profound. Always personal, always one of a kind.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ABOUT YOUR PERSONALIZED CEREMONY
DIRECT, OPEN, AND HONEST
Absolutely! I love all my couples – no matter their gender, nationality, ethnicity, age, faith, or sexual orientation. In a personalized wedding ceremony, none of this matters.
It depends. Most couples book 8–12 months in advance. If you’re planning to get married between June and September, or if you’re considering a destination wedding, it’s best to reach out 12–24 months ahead.
But don’t worry if you’re more of a last-minute couple – I’ve also created beautiful ceremonies with only a few weeks between the first meeting and the big day. It’s not ideal, but possible if my schedule allows.
We’ll start with a free, no-obligation introductory meeting. This is mainly about discussing your ideas for the ceremony and making sure we feel comfortable with each other.
Later in the preparation process, we’ll schedule a detailed planning session where we dive into your love story. This might even take place over a relaxed brunch or dinner together. Sometimes, I also visit your wedding venue in advance to explore the setting on-site.
For each meeting, I take 2–3 hours of dedicated time just for you.
I invite you to complete detailed written interviews – both as a couple and individually. These are the so-called “Liebesbekenntnis Homework.” With unexpected questions, they take you on a journey through your love story. Couples who answer with time and creativity are rewarded with a truly unique ceremony script, as your own words and style shape the character of the celebration. Afterwards, we deepen everything in a personal conversation.
With your permission, I also reach out to your witnesses and/or parents. They often share entertaining anecdotes and heartfelt memories, which I weave into your ceremony to make it even more personal and touching.
I arrive at your wedding venue two to three hours before the ceremony, giving me plenty of time to set up the sound system, run through the music with the musicians, and make sure all the seating is just right. If needed, I’ll make sure there’s shade and water ready for you. I also brief the photographers and videographers, along with the flower girls, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and the person walking you down the aisle.
Before the ceremony begins, I slip into my outfit, review the script one last time, and take a quiet moment to center myself. Most importantly, I’m here for you – we’ll go over the flow together, rehearse the ring exchange, finalize the seating, and I’ll bring you calm, confidence, and reassurance: everything will be just perfect.
After the ceremony, I pack up the equipment, enjoy a quick moment at the aperitif buffet, chat with a few of your guests, and give you both one last heartfelt hug. Then it’s time for me to head home—after all, I can’t be partying at a different wedding every weekend!
Yes, this can happen. If, during our first meeting, I feel that I’m not the right fit for a couple—or that their expectations don’t align with my philosophy—I see it as the professional choice not to accept the ceremony in the first place. After all, if I’m going to tell your love story, I can only do it wholeheartedly.
It’s much trickier once a ceremony is already planned and, unexpectedly, I fall ill or cannot attend. But don't worry, I have built a strong network of trusted celebrants who can step in in an emergency. Many of them were personally trained by myself, so you can feel confident they uphold the same standards.
Once I’ve given you my “I do,” you can rest assured I’ll be there for you, come rain or shine!
